Product description

This Finnish hunting knife and outdoor knife called Heimo 4 " Bushcraft edition, with full tang – is designed to take on all your adventures and challenges in the wilderness. Very popular for bushcraft, hunting, fishing and outdoor life. We have chosen to make this blade in our carbon steel for superior durability.

The excess hidden steel in this full tang knife (where the blade is throughout the entire handle) gives you better support and balance when putting it to hard use. Our full tang knives are long-lasting, durable and perfect heavy-duty knives.

The knife has a beautiful handle in stained curly birch - coated with linseed oil to ensure a firm grip, even when wet. The handle also has brass clamps and holes for straps. Comes in a handmade sheath  with Roselli firesteel  of dark vegetable tanned Finnish leather, with a metal spring to always keep the knife securely in place.

    Never head out without my Roselli, at least one of them. They all hold a good edge. My 19 inch Axe splits firewood like butter and my Grandfather knife is always on my belt, if not my Heimo. Good steel and comfortable wood handles.

    The Carpenter is the best small bushcraft knife I ever had. Beautiful, comfortable, light as a feather, has a very good edge geometry and factory sharpness, and keeps that edge for a long-long time. And when it's time to strop, it takes no time to get that scary edge back. My other purchase was the Hunter. The handle is a bit too big for my hand, but I love the bladeshape very much. I can definitely see why it is such a popular knife! I will probably buy a blade and make my own handle to fit me better. I will definitely get a Carving Knife and a Roselli Axe too!

Each Roselli is created with the highest attention to detail and an absolute focus on quality. No shortcuts are taken – we make everything by hand, from fantastic local natural materials, using old blacksmithing techniques, in a local workshop in Harmoinen Finland. Here, everything is manufactured in much smaller quantities, which ensures that we can minimize our waste and footprint on the environment.

Premium Materials

Our products are made from the finest natural materials and raw materials that follow the highest ethical standards. High-quality carbon steel, Finnish curly birch and Finnish natural tanned leather form the basis of all our products. Our locally produced, organic and ethical leather comes from free animals and has been vegetable tanned where only organic material is used instead of destructive chemicals.

We are constantly exploring new ways to minimize the impact of our business operations on the environment. In addition to our long-term sustainability goals, we choose local natural materials to minimize transport and a transport partner whose electrified road transport is increasing all the time. Our solar cells give us a good renewable alternative for our heating and electricity consumption.
