Discover our classic Japanese chef knife, from our discontinued assortment.


This larger-sized kitchen knife, inspired by Japanese craftsmanship, is perfect for slicing and dicing in style.
The blade, forged from high-quality carbon steel, offers exceptional sharpness and durability. Its slightly narrower profile enhances its precision, making it adept at cutting delicate slices of meat and fish, while the added weight ensures powerful, effortless cuts.


The curly birch handle, treated with linseed oil, provides a secure grip, even when wet. Complementing this kitchen knife, the knife comes with a knife rack in birch, also with a linseed oil coating.

    The Carpenter is the best small bushcraft knife I ever had. Beautiful, comfortable, light as a feather, has a very good edge geometry and factory sharpness, and keeps that edge for a long-long time. And when it's time to strop, it takes no time to get that scary edge back. My other purchase was the Hunter. The handle is a bit too big for my hand, but I love the bladeshape very much. I can definitely see why it is such a popular knife! I will probably buy a blade and make my own handle to fit me better. I will definitely get a Carving Knife and a Roselli Axe too!

No shortcuts are taken – we make everything by hand, from fantastic local natural materials, using old blacksmithing techniques, in a local workshop in Harmoinen Finland. Here, everything is manufactured in much smaller quantities, which ensures that we can minimize our waste and footprint on the environment.

Our products are made from the finest natural materials and raw materials that follow the highest ethical standards. High-quality carbon steel, Finnish curly birch and Finnish natural tanned leather form the basis of all our products. Our locally produced, organic and ethical leather comes from free animals and has been vegetable tanned where only organic material is used instead of destructive chemicals.

Our Environmental Impact

We are constantly exploring new ways to minimize the impact of our business operations on the environment. In addition to our long-term sustainability goals, we choose local natural materials to minimize transport and a transport partner whose electrified road transport is increasing all the time. Our solar cells give us a good renewable alternative for our heating and electricity consumption.
