My name is Engin, I live in the middle of Germany near the city Frankfurt surrounded by forests which were the inspiration for the Grimm fairy tales. Biologically I am 41 but I feel like 20. I work as a manager for employee development in telecommunications. All in all, I deal with a lot of digital topics that I adapt to social and human conditions.

Ghost train. Loved them when I was a kid (and still do).

Never throw away something before you google the 3 RE words: REuse, REpair or REpurpose.

Where’s the next place on your travel bucket list and why?

One place which is very interesting for me is the region of Sápmi. Because of its raw and natural landscape and also because of the interesting lifestyle of the natives.

What's your outdoor story?

As a child I devoured books, for example by Jack London or Daniel Defoe, and tried to imitate these adventures in my immediate urban environment in Germany. I often went fishing and camping trips around europe with my father. He taught me a lot about nature and a healthy mindset. So I can say that I have always had a close relationship with the wilderness.

I am still researching the answer of whom I am – my essence. I think the best way for me to find an answer is the way of dealing with difficult circumstances. My outdoor lifestyle is helping me to find these circumstances.
